Airtel launches Xsafe surveillance cameras with 1-month free subscription, prices start at Rs 2,499

After months of trying and testing, Airtel has finally launched its home monitoring solution called Xsafe. The new surveillance solution includes a range of advanced WiFi-based cameras combined with plans for consumers to help improve the safety of their families as well as their belongings. The service is currently only available in 40 cities including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata.

As part of the newly launched surveillance system, Airtel is offering three cameras that can be installed at home or in the office to keep an eye on everything that is happening there. It includes two indoor cameras and one outdoor camera as well as a range of Wi-Fi packages that can be combined for a seamless surveillance system.

The three cameras under the Airtel Xsafe service are sticky camera and 360 degree camera for indoors, and active defense camera for outdoors. As an introductory offer, Airtel is offering a limited time discount on its Xsafe products. The sticky camera is priced at Rs 2,499, while the 360° camera is for Rs 2,999 and the active defense camera is for Rs 4,499. Customers can pay an annual subscription fee of Rs 999 and get a free one-month subscription for the first time.

All three cameras come with features like motion detection, cloud storage, multi-person action, smart alerts, AI-based motion detection, and more. Like any other home camera system, Airtel Xsafe comes with an app accessible from your phone to receive real-time alerts when the camera detects suspicious movement. These videos can be retrieved anytime through the app using Airtel’s secure cloud storage. Airtel says the entire solution is end-to-end encrypted, ensuring complete privacy.

Airtel also plans to launch a solution to integrate Xsafe subscription fees into monthly postpaid/broadband bills.
