It’s free money according to the boss, whose name is David Anderson. It’s his own way of looking out for those he employs in the face of rising energy costs.

Anderson, 52, who is the manager of Joseph Parr, a building dealer, also handed out similar packages to young apprentices who still live at home with their parents.
Speaking about why he did this kind act, Anderson said:
“When you talk to staff you’re worried the fuel will go up – they used to put £60 in their tank, and now it’s £80.”
