Interior Health employees are invited to take advantage of free chairlift rides at Big White over the upcoming long weekend.

Big White Ski Resort is thanking healthcare workers by offering free chairlift rides over the BC Day long weekend.

The offer is extended to Interior Health employees from July 28 through August 1.

“We applaud our healthcare workers who provide excellent care to our communities and appreciate all they have done for us,” Big White President and CEO Peter Plimmer said in a press release. released today, July 26.

“It is with great pleasure that we salute healthcare professionals and heroes by offering a free panoramic chairlift ticket.”

Interior Health employees can take advantage of the offer by presenting their employee card at the counter.

“Our teams at Interior Health have gone above and beyond in providing care to our patients, their families and the communities we serve over the past few years. Our workers have been and remain dedicated to their communities and to providing quality care,” Danielle Cameron, executive director of clinical operations for Interior Health for Central Okanagan, said in the release.

“It means a lot to our workers when they see the community rally behind them in recognition of their hard work and care over the past two years. We appreciate the continued support and recognition from Interior Health employees that Big White Resort continues to show.”
