Supermarkets and restaurants where children can eat for free or at low cost during the October semester

Kids can eat for free or as little as £1 at a variety of supermarket restaurants and cafes this semester

Some of the country’s biggest chains are offering meal deals over the next two weeks where kids can eat for £1 or nothing at all.

Supermarkets and food chains are getting in on the action, with some reinstating deals that were in place over the summer holidays, during which hundreds of thousands of meals were given away to children.

These offers should help parents and guardians look after children while they are out of school, at a time when budgets are stretched by rapidly rising inflation.
